Visit the historic New Jersey Dutch Barn for an illustrated introduction to George Washington’s final headquarters of the Revolutionary War. Handle reproduction artifacts of the Revolutionary War. Sign up for tours of the grounds. Rockingham was George Washington's final wartime headquarters. Arriving from New York, Washington stayed at Rockingham from August 23, 1783 and left November 10, 1783. While at Rockingham, Washington entertained guests, issued his Farewell Orders to the Army, and learned the United States became formally independent with the signing of the Treaty of Paris. The historic house remains closed due to construction for stabilization of the south elevation. ? Revolution NJ is New Jersey’s official observance of the 250th anniversaries of New Jersey’s first Constitution July 2, 2026 and the American Revolution in New Jersey from 2024 – 2033.

Susan introduces the cacao tree, explains the types of cacao, and follows the entire process from cacao bean to chocolate cake with tasting of an eighteenth-century chocolate beverage too. Shake the Lulav, Feel the Beat: A Sukkot Drumming Celebration Shake it, drum it, celebrate it! Join us for Shake the Lulav, Feel the Beat, a joyful Sukkot celebration filled with rhythm, tradition, food, and fun for the whole family. We’ll begin with a warm welcome and Sukkot blessings before turning up the beat with a hands-on drumming experience led by Musical IQ. Kids and adults alike can grab a drum and join the circle as we make some music together. Along the way, shake the lulav and etrog, enjoy dinner in the sukkah, and celebrate Sukkot with friends, family, and community. ? The group will rotate between dinner and the drumming circle, so everyone gets plenty of time to eat, drum, shake, and celebrate. $5 per person Open to the entire community. Come hungry. Hands-on lantern-making and cultural craft workshops will also be offered in the Events Space. Also known as the Moon Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished celebration centered on family, togetherness, and gratitude. Traditionally, families gather to share mooncakes, admire the full moon, and enjoy colorful lantern displays and festivities. Mid-Autumn Chinese Lantern Exhibit Date/Time: Sat, October 3 – Sun, October 11; On display during open mall hours. Fall Fest Community Day is Bedminster Township’s premier community celebration held outdoors at River Road Park in Bedminster. The event attracts an audience of over 5,000 residents of all ages. We host a large social tent with tables and chairs for neighbors to relax, eat and socialize; as well as live music, entertainment, child & adult activities, exhibitor displays and contests.
