Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band

State Theatre New Jersey 11 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick

Blues-rock powerhouse Kenny Wayne Shepherd celebrates 30 years of his groundbreaking debut Ledbetter Heights with a milestone tour coming to State Theatre New Jersey. In this electrifying live experience, Shepherd and his band perform the landmark album in full, along with a second set of career-spanning favorites that showcase his signature blend of fiery guitar work, blues tradition, and rock energy. When Ledbetter Heights was first released in 1995, it introduced a teenage guitar prodigy and quickly became a defining album of modern blues, earning Gold and Platinum status and helping return the genre to the mainstream. Now, three decades later, Shepherd revisits the record with a renewed perspective, capturing the spirit of the original while revealing the depth and precision of an artist who has grown into a true master of his craft. Over the course of his career, Shepherd has built an impressive legacy, earning multiple Grammy® nominations, Platinum and Gold albums, and widespread acclaim as one of the most influential blues-rock artists of his generation. He has toured the world and shared stages with legendary acts including The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, while continuing to record, collaborate, and evolve his sound.
