It’s a Wonderful Life
It’s a Wonderful Life
It’s a Wonderful Life is an adaptation of Frank Capra’s masterpiece film. This is the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been squashed by family obligations and civic duty, and whose guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him from despair, and to remind him – by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born – that he has had, after all, a wonderful life.

100th Basking Ridge Community Caroling
100th Basking Ridge Community Caroling
100th Basking Ridge Community Caroling Every year on December 24th for 100 years at 7pm on “The Town Green”, residents, families, friends, and guests gather in Basking Ridge, New Jersey for around 30 minutes to sing Christmas carols, wish good tidings, then move on to their personal family traditions. Church bells begin ringing at about 7pm. 10 songs are sung and the caroling ends around 7:35pm, again with a round of ringing church bells. The “Christmas Eve Sing” is the oldest continuous Christmas Eve sing in New Jersey. Honoring the 100th running of this event, the Mr. Local History Project is offering a limited edition fundraiser wooden keepsake honoring this local event.
