Monty Python’s Spamalot
Monty Python’s Spamalot
Monty Python's Spamalot Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Did we mention the bevy of beautiful showgirls? The 2005 Broadway production won three Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, and was followed by two successful West End runs. The outrageous, uproarious, and gloriously entertaining story of King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake will delight audiences as they search for the Holy Grail and “always look on the bright side of life.”

The program begins at 5:30 p.m. on the steps of the Historic Somerset County Courthouse in Somerville. “Juneteenth celebrates the day when news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached enslaved African Americans in Texas,” said Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson. “It is thus very fitting that we use this holiday to remember and honor the US Colored Troops who helped save the Union, end the sin of slavery, and who were laid to rest here in Somerset County.” As part of the festivities, the Somerset County Commissioners will award the Juneteenth Leadership Award to Arthur E.D. Adair, a Somerville native who has cared for the graves of those 18 African American veterans for nearly two decades. The keynote address will be given by Director Robinson’s own father, the Rev. Dr. W. Golden Carmon, Sr. the Senior Pastor at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, New Brunswick. Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu: The Welsh Women’s Peace Petition to the Women of the United States, 1924 The women of Wales, aiming to promote peace in the aftermath of World War I, organized in 1923 an appeal to the women of the United States, urging them to bring their country into the new League of Nations. A delegation of Welsh women brought this appeal to the United States in 1924 on a remarkable journey made possible by the support of American women including women from New Jersey. Their effort followed the 1921 Knox-Porter Resolution, ending U.S. involvement in World War I without entering the League of Nations. U.S. President Warren G. Harding signed the Knox-Porter Resolution in New Jersey at the Raritan home of U.S. Sen. Joseph S. Frelinghuysen, Sr., a descendant of the Frelinghuysen family of Old Dutch Parsonage and leader of Old Dutch Parsonage’s preservation in 1913. 100 years later, American and Welsh women have joined again in Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu, a transatlantic effort uncovering and sharing the artifacts and history of the Welsh Women’s Peace Petition in support of peacemaking today. Tantra Tom - Kundalini Activation & Breathwork Experience this powerful healing modality by harnessing your own innate life force energy at the hands of a master practitioner. Bring a friend (or go solo!) and experience this powerful healing energy that harnesses our life force energy for our own healing and connection with each other. Engaging in Kundalini activation can offer a profound and enriching experience that extends beyond the physical realm. This ancient practice, rooted in spiritual traditions, involves the awakening of the dormant energy at the base of the spine, known as Kundalini, and allowing it to rise through the chakras. When done together with like minded individuals, this shared journey can deepen the emotional and energetic connection between you and those around you. The synchronized breathwork, intentional movements, and focused attention create a harmonious atmosphere, fostering a sense of unity and oneness. This shared spiritual exploration can enhance communication, trust, and intimacy, as participants support each other through the highs and lows of the practice. Additionally, the heightened awareness and increased energy flow may contribute to more vibrant and passionate relationships, promoting overall well-being and a deeper connection on both physical and spiritual levels.

Nature Days Enrichment Programs
Nature Days Enrichment Programs At Nature Days, we let kids be kids as they explore, create, and discover! Our educators guide children through structured and unstructured learning and play time outdoors, helping children develop the creativity and critical thinking needed to build long-lasting connections with nature. Age appropriate activities let children develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills, encourage cooperative play, practice positive social behavior and communication skills. Our programs are made up of small groups of children with a low student to teacher ratio, allowing each child to get the attention they need. Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve has plenty of space to explore with quiet forests, trickling streams, colorful meadows, big skies, fresh air, and even some magical places where fairies are thought to live!
