Battle Against Book Bans || Monthly Book Club

**Join Us for Battle Against Banned Books Club** A free monthly gathering held on the first Saturday of each month from 6-7 PM at Discover Chocolate (24 Division Street, Somerville, NJ). Hosted in the cozy, inviting atmosphere of the shop, this book club explores stories that have faced censorship or push-back. Our goal is to spark thoughtful discussions about freedom of expression, diverse perspectives, and the power of storytelling! Whether you're a passionate reader or just curious about why certain books stir controversy, all are welcome to join the conversation. This is a casual, inclusive space to connect with fellow book lovers while learning about controversies behind these often-misunderstood works. No registration required—just bring your curiosity (and your sweet tooth!). Discover the stories some don’t want told, and decide for yourself what makes them so compelling—or contentious. See you there!
