“Blithe Spirit” at Farmstead Arts Center

"Blithe Spirit" at Farmstead Arts Center The Lord Stirling Theater Company will perform the comedy classic “Blithe Spirit” by Noël Coward in the English Barn Theater at the Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. “Blithe Spirit” will open on Friday, June 2, at 7:30PM, with additional performances on June 3 at 7:30PM, June 4 at 4:00PM, June 9 and 10 at 7:30PM, and June 11 at 4:00PM. Tickets are $25 general admission, $23 for seniors (65 and over) and students, $20 for Farmstead Arts members, and $15 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased online at https://farmsteadartscenter.org or at the door (cash only). Writer Charles Condomine is conducting research for his latest novel about a medium. To gather material, he and his wife Ruth invite local medium Madame Arcati to dinner, along with their friends the Bradmans. Charles is hoping to find a fraud, but perhaps Madame Arcati conjures up more than he expected.? “Blithe Spirit” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. Negri-Nepote Grasslands We’ll search for nesting grassland birds including Grasshopper Sparrow at this hidden gem. Led by Christopher Daly and Patrick Belardo. We’ll search for nesting grassland birds including Grasshopper Sparrow at this hidden gem.  This restored grassland hosts a good variety of breeding species including American Kestrel, Black-billed Cuckoo, Grasshopper Sparrow, Orchard Oriole, and Blue Grosbeak. Be prepared for three hours of walking over flat terrain. We’ll also spend a little time looking at butterflies and dragonflies. There are no restrooms on site. U-Pick Strawberry Weekends Picking depends on weather and crop availability, so please check our phone message for any updates before you visit. We currently do not take credit cards, an ATM will be on premises. Field fee is $5.00 per person plus cost of berries. Field fee for children under 2, free. No outside food or drink, No smoking on the premises, No pets allowed. A wagon ride is required to get back to the strawberry field -Please check in at the little farm shed to the right of the parking area for wagon instructions. Pre picked strawberries will be available at our outdoor market. Activity area and Jumbo Jumper will be open for the kiddos, you can purchase tickets at the little farm shed where you received your wagon ride tickets. Hours are Weekends 9AM to 4PM last car in at 3:00 For your safety Please always watch your footing on the property, there are rocks, sticks, holes, and uneven ground.
