Event Series Nature Infused Yoga

Led by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Preregistration is required. There will be no class 4/8, 5/13, and 5/27. Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class.  We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. COST: $13 members, $16 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member? Bugs and Blooms for Kids and their Grown Ups!

Join us with your child, every other Saturday from March 11 to June 3! 10:00 am to 11:00 am Staring in March of 2023, our naturalists will guide grown ups and children through fun, hands on learning in our organic vegetable and flower gardens! Connect with other local families, learn valuable lessons about plants, the ecosystem and organic gardening, all while your child gains skills in social development, fine motor skills, sensory and language. The programs for grown ups and children are below. Earth Day Yoga at Fairview Farm

Enjoy a ~1 hour outdoor, all-level yoga class taught by certified yoga instructor and Director of Education, Lauren Theis. Students are welcome to join us after class for a tea tasting led by International Tea Masters Association Sommeliere, Pamela Kenworthy, or enjoy your own hike on the easy trails of Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve! Bring your own mat, or there will be a limited amount of mats to borrow. We will meet at the Brick Cottage at 10 am. Pay what you can/wish, all are welcome! Climate Station Training

Participate in our climate station monitoring program by attending our training to learn more about the impacts of climate change within our watershed. Volunteer to become a climate station monitor by helping RHA maintain our EnviroDIY Mayfly stations that collect data (water depth, conductivity, and water temperature) every 15 minutes. At the training, you’ll learn how the stations work, sign up for maintaining a station, meet your team members, and pick up a climate station kit.  Learn more here.
