Learn about the “Sustainable Materials & Traditional Techniques” architects and contractors are reintroducing to the Wallace House as part of its 250th anniversary rehabilitation including linseed oil paint made from flax by Brouns and Co. Sunday, October 12, 2025, 12 p.m. the Somerville Environmental Commission hosts a Salem Oak Celebration for the third anniversary of the planting of Somerville’s seedling of New Jersey’s historic Salem Oak at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites.
