Appearing live at the Brook Arts Center on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 8 pm for one night only. When the lyrics and melodies of Doo Wop are brought to life by the smooth vocals of these groups no one can resist the emotion that sparks memories and the desire to sing and dance along. Event Series Fall Harvest Days

Fall Harvest Days

NJ, United States

Norz Hill Farm has been in our family since 1922 when Hillsborough was very rural and all of our neighbors were farmers. Today most all of you, our neighbors from near and far, are generations removed from farm families so it is very important to us to be able to provide an educational, breathtaking and fun experience while visiting our Farm. Farm Tours The tour takes you on a hay wagon ride from our farm stand area to the farm, then you can get off and see all the animals. Some of the animals you will find are cows, miniature donkeys (yep, we have a Dominick the donkey!), horses, alpaca, sheep, chickens, goats, pigs, bunnies, emu's and even a zonkey. Then when you have had a chance to see all the animals, you can catch the next hayride right to our pumpkin patch. The Corn Maze Each and every year we dedicate our corn maze to either events that happen on our farm or a great local cause. SO while you are here you can be challenged to find your way through our 5 acres of farm fun! Kids' Corner & Fun Things Our Kids Croner is a fun area

MOZAIKA CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES: ANNA KEISERMAN & MADISON STRING QUARTET

NJ, United States

Russian-born and New York-based pianist Anna Keiserman, known for her creative programming, expressive freedom, and singular vision performs at the Sieminski Theater on Sunday, September 18 at 2:30pm. The program features a rich tapestry of Russian, Czech and Iberian music, ranging from the sweeping romanticism of Rachmaninoff, to the tragic folk idioms of Janá?ek and the vibrant colors of Catalan composer Jordi Cervelló (a North American premiere). The music brings the listener on a “journey” through place and time, conjuring up the shared experiences of the people, as well as the diverse landscapes and dramatic upheavals of their countries. Known for its energetic performances and inventive programming, the Madison String Quartet “has carved a niche out for themselves by exploring Hispanic literature from both sides of the Atlantic”. (Paul Somers, Classical New Jersey) The Quartet is involved in blurring the line between performer and audience, creating a comfortable performance atmosphere for masterworks from past and present.
