If we are closed or have a delay in opening due to weather, it will be updated on our phone message, website and social media pages No prepaid reservations or tickets required. Saturday, October 8, 2022 Hours: 10 am to 5 pm Guided Tour: 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm Sunday, October 9, 2022 Hours: Noon to 4 pm Guided Tour: 2 pm Weekend Highlights Include: *Self-guided tour of St. Andrew Cemetery & Mausoleum highlights *Fisher Family Cemetery plot *Video presentation on the history of the cemetery and St. Andrew Memorial Church *Printed and online (smartphone) walking guide *Scavenger hunt and other kid’s activities *All tours and presentations will be outdoors *St. Andrew Memorial Church will be opened for private reflection (stairs & wheelchair accessible) Ample parking at 280 Main Street / South Bound Brook, NJ 08880 This two-day event is part of Somerset County's Weekend Journey Through the Past. 2022 Somerset County Diversity Festival
NJ, United StatesSomerset County is hosting its annual free Diversity Festival in Somerville on Grove and Main Streets, in front of the Historic Courthouse. Sunday, October 16, 2022 • 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone and everyone are welcome! It's free fun for the family! Enjoy music, activities, and games for all ages. Join us for: Exhibits offering diversity-related materials and information. Interactive stations focusing on diversity and inclusion. Performance artists showcased on two stages located near the historic fountain on the corner of Main and Grove Streets and in Veterans Plaza. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be onsite. Individuals with hearing impairment can visit the welcome table for assistance. Join the Diversity Festival Info-Game! Listen, Learn and Play Join Vania Cevallos to hear a brief history about the Pinata, take part in a Q&A for a chance to win a gift basket, and play the Pinata! This event is for people of all ages. This year, join us for a Special Experience on the Courthouse Green in Somerville… Step inside a replica of George Washington’s Revolutionary War Tent! George Washington's Revolutionary War tent was the office and sleeping quarters that Washington used as the Continental Army’s command center. Somerset County welcomes the Museum of the American Revolution and their replica of Washington's tent to the Courthouse Green this Journey through the Past. Tent set up begins at 9:30 a.m. on October 8, 2022, come early and help set it up!
