2022 Somerset County Diversity Festival

Somerset County is hosting its annual free Diversity Festival in Somerville on Grove and Main Streets, in front of the Historic Courthouse. Sunday, October 16, 2022 • 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone and everyone are welcome! It's free fun for the family! Enjoy music, activities, and games for all ages. Join us for: Exhibits offering diversity-related materials and information. Interactive stations focusing on diversity and inclusion. Performance artists showcased on two stages located near the historic fountain on the corner of Main and Grove Streets and in Veterans Plaza. American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be onsite. Individuals with hearing impairment can visit the welcome table for assistance. Join the Diversity Festival Info-Game! Listen, Learn and Play Join Vania Cevallos to hear a brief history about the Pinata, take part in a Q&A for a chance to win a gift basket, and play the Pinata! This event is for people of all ages. This year, join us for a Special Experience on the Courthouse Green in Somerville… Step inside a replica of George Washington’s Revolutionary War Tent! George Washington's Revolutionary War tent was the office and sleeping quarters that Washington used as the Continental Army’s command center. Somerset County welcomes the Museum of the American Revolution and their replica of Washington's tent to the Courthouse Green this Journey through the Past.  Tent set up begins at 9:30 a.m. on October 8, 2022, come early and help set it up!
