Spring Dance of the Woodcock at Negri Nepote Native Grassland
NJ, United StatesLed by Chris and Paula Williams, NJ Audubon Associate Naturalists. The American Woodcock, a long-billed woodland bird, probes in soft wet soil of wetlands and eats its weight in worms each day. Woodcock return to Franklin Township in late winter or early spring to mate and nest. Males of the species begin calling and performing an aerial courtship-display-flight when the afternoon shadows are almost gone. We’ll hear more than we see. Franklin Township’s open space program will, for the 18th consecutive year, sponsor guided nature walks on Township open space parcels. Easter Bunny at The Commons
Located in Center Court, Easter Bunny at The Commons welcomes families for a magical visit with the famous Bunny in a colorful springtime flower field experience. Kicking off with the Bunny Hop Launch Party on March 16th at 11am with music, face painting, stilt walkers and more, the Easter photo experience will be open through March 30th. Bridgewater Commons’ guests will not only meet the magical Bunny but should anticipate a high-quality, studio photo experience as well. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Girl Scout Heart of New Jersey, a 501(c)(3) Organization. MAKE YOUR RESERVATION HERE! Kokedama Ball: Floating String Garden

No problem! Kokedama balls can also be placed in a decorative bowl or saucer. These planters create a very unique design element for your home! You will create your own Kokedama Ball with step-by-step guidance from our staff using either a succulent or tropical plant. There will be a variety of easy to care for plants to choose from! During the workshop, you will learn all you need to help your work of art continue to grow and flourish! The fee includes all items necessary to create a Kokedama ball and each participant will leave with instructions on how to care for the piece they have created. Can't attend this workshop?
