Game Highlight (2): Jewish Heritage Night Join us at the ballpark for a special event celebrating Jewish heritage with food, music, presentations, vendors and more. Game Highlight: Appearance By Art Shamsky New York Baseball legend Art Shamsky will take pictures and sign autographs for fans at the game on the main concourse as part of Jewish Heritage Night. For meet and greets, the Somerset Patriots use a wristband system. Different color wristbands will be distributed to fans on the main concourse, behind section 202, when gates open to the public at 5:30 pm. This area is accessed by entering the Main Gate, which is located between the Ticket Office and Team Store. Wristbands are on a first come, first served basis and are limited in quantity while supplies last. Once they receive a wristband, fans can enjoy the game until their wristband color is called over the PA system or shown on the scoreboard. When their color is called fans can get on the meet and greet line. Once fans receive their picture/autograph, their wristband will be removed and they can go to their seats to enjoy the game.

Coordinated by the Department of Parks & Recreation, Charter Day is an annual event which celebrates the history and 1760 Charter of Bernards Township and showcases community groups, businesses and talent. The event is held on the 3rd Saturday of May from 12pm – 6pm in the Downtown Basking Ridge area. Our event map and schedule of entertainment is posted in early May. The event features: - street fair with area businesses, school groups, non-profit organizations, local artisans and food vendors. - entertainment including musical and dance performances, demonstrations, strolling magicians and more. - a student art exhibit (artwork is collected through the Township's public schools). - historical displays at the Brick Academy. - and amusement rides and games for children of all ages.

Jersey Talent, the hottest talent show in New Jersey, is back at the historic State Theatre on May 16! Join us for an amazing evening of performances featuring 10 talented singers, dancers, and musicians between the ages 8-25. If you like America's Got Talent, you'll love Jersey Talent! The Top 10 finalists include singer Piotr Kowalczyk (17, Hillsborough), singer Autumn Henriquez (12, Westampton), drummer Antonio "Tony" Brucchieri (10, Harding), dancer Lexi Valentin (24, Manalapan), singer Reno Rabinowitz (13, Scotch Plains), guitarist John David Sia (11, Jersey City), singer Isla Griswold (15, Upper Saddle River), tap dancer John Boudouvas (11, Metuchen), singer Gianna Roman (17, Sayreville), and Bharatanatyam dancer Naviyasri Rajeshkumar (15, Montgomery Township). The winner of Jersey Talent earns a performance spot at the annual New Brunswick Heart Festival! This year's Jersey Talent judges include Benjamin Bucca, Jr., Judge at the Middlesex County Courthouse; Carolina Moratti, chef, activist, and community organizer; Jessica Trechak, State Theatre’s Director of Event Services; and Lindy Zeledón, Director of Family & Community Engagement for Foundation Academies.
