    Strawberry U-Pick opening weekend is here! May 17th & 18th  Hours are 9am – 4pm (Last car in at 3:30) Come out and pick the freshest strawberries you can buy. Grab a bite to eat and some delicious drinks at Snyder’s concessions. Bring the kids for a day filled with fun. Our kids activity area will be open! Strawberry U-pick is dependent on weather, so please check our phone message, social media or website for any updates on closures or delays in opening due to weather.

    Led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher Naturalist Don’t just scan the color pages to try to identify wildflowers! Join Dorothy Smullen, teacher/naturalist to learn how to use the identification keys in your guidebooks. We will brush up on flower vocabulary and practice hands-on ID in the indoor part. Following that, we will walk the trails to see and identify what is in bloom.  Bring your favorite wildflower guide and camera. COST: $18 members, $23 nonmembers.     Watchung's Texier Open House Museum The Texier House Museum is Watchung’s central location for history, photos, fun facts, and artifacts. Visit and investigate each of the 6 rooms independently or together, speak with our tour guides, and learn about the many wonderful tales from Watchung’s (nearly) 100 year history! The Texier House Museum is typically open the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, but be sure to periodically check this page for any updates or event closings. Admission is FREE.
