NJ Audubon: Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. Pre-registration Required. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. Shop every Saturday all season long for fresh vegetables, fruit, poultry, pasture-raised meats, baked goods, herbs, cut flowers, gourmet prepared food, and more. U-Pick Blueberries Opening Weekend Get all the details before you visit!Hours - Saturday/Sunday 9am to 4pm last car in at 3pm Our U-Pick blueberry season starts the weekend of June 22nd Picking depends on weather and crop availability, so please check our phone message or social media for any updates before you visit. We currently do not take credit cards or cash apps, an ATM will be on premises.Field fee is $3.00 per person plus cost of berries.Berries are $5 per lb.We do not pre-sell tickets - fee is collected upon entry No outside food or drink, Snyder's grill will be open with food, drinks, homemade ice cream, lemonade and more. Pre picked berries, seasonal produce, eggs, jar goods and our local honey will be available at our outdoor market. Walk an Alpaca - Saturday Mornings PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! NON REFUNDABLE!!!!! NON CHANGEABLE!!!! Alpaca Halter Training (Walking): Walk one of our beautiful, friendly Alpacas around our property. Enjoy their wonderful personalities and cuteness overload. You will be instructed on how to handle your alpaca and we will give you a little bit of information on our Alpacas. 1 reservation is 1 Alpaca and 1 Person. Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!! Our helpers are all volunteers, so tipping is appreciated.
