Washington Valley Park Reservoir, a 21-acre impoundment within the Lower-Raritan River drainage, was created in the 1920s for water supply to the Bound Brook area. Four small tributaries also feed the reservoir, whose maximum depth near the dam is 22 feet. Although there is no boat ramp, there are extensive trails around the perimeter of the reservoir for shoreline fishing.
