Things are about to get Rebbie-Riffic at STNJ! Rebbie Rye is a colorful and playful children's artist that's winning the hearts of children and families around the world with her show In the Art Room with Rebbie Rye. Her original songs and stories encourage children’s curiosity, expand their horizons, and teach the importance of keeping the arts alive. She'll be performing holiday songs alongside her popular numbers like "Flowers in the Garden" and "Pop like a Popcorn," which has over 12.5 million plays on YouTube. Milk & Cookies is a lively, interactive storytelling and music series for families. This program, which takes place in our Studio, is the perfect way to introduce children ages 3-8 to live theater. Includes a cookie and a carton of milk for every child after the show. The 12pm show is a Sensory-Friendly Performance, specially designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for kids on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities.

Light up your Chanukah with creativity, community and connection! On December 10 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the JCC, we’re rolling out a special evening just for families. Start by designing your very own family chanukiah — we’ll supply all the craft materials, you bring the imagination and the sparkle! After the crafting fun, dig into a hearty dinner complete with latkes and sufganiyot (because every celebration needs delicious treats!). Then we’ll gather together for the big finish: watching the local Chanukah parade and lighting the candles together on the 3rd night of Chanukah. It’s the perfect blend of hands-on fun, family time, meaningful ritual and community spirit. Come ready to craft, to celebrate and to shine bright together! Preschool-2nd grade – families will be given an assortment of arts and crafts supplies and materials to design their own chanukiah. Each chanukiah will be unique and special to your family! 3rd grade-6th grade – families will build their own chanukiah out of wood material. Learn how to saw, hammer, and nail your handmade chanukiah.

Bring a part of Natirar into your own home for the holiday celebrations. This is a two-hour, rain or shine, shared group experience. Due to updated guidance from the Department of Health and the FDA, we are unable to welcome any pets, including dogs at the farm. Santa @ The Commons Nov 15, 2025 - Dec 24, 2025 Presented by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, the one and only Kris Kringle returns to welcome children of all ages for another season filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa @ The Commons will begin Saturday, November 15 through Wednesday, December 24. Santa will be available for photos in a stunning home, set amidst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above. Kris Kringle will sit in a grand velvet chair in front of a redesigned set that includes a majestic new 30-foot tree with a 5-foot topper, additional 10-foot trees and scenic elements as well as new “Elf Training” interactives on the line to entertain kids (and their parents) while they wait. A free, new photo opportunity will debut on the Main Level balcony overlooking Santa where guests can create a photographic memory behind a spectacular 6 foot high by 12 foot wide frame with the word “Joy” amongst glistening lights.
