RoboCon New Jersey
RoboCon New Jersey Saturday September 28 from 12-6pm Sunday, September 29 from 12-5pm RoboCon New Jersey, one of the state’s largest robotics festivals, makes its return to Bridgewater Commons. The mall-wide festival features a Robot Rumble in Center Court and FIRST ? Tech Challenge Robotics Teams, Combat Robotics, Robot Driving, LEGO® Universe, Quiet Exploration, Investigation Alley, STEAM Stations and more throughout two levels of the Commons. Produced by six regional FIRST® Robotics Competition High School Teams, RoboCon New Jersey is a free interactive festival focusing on K-12 students to inspire and energize them to not only think big but to develop the science, technology, engineering, and math skills needed to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders. Joe Cirotti Trio returns to the Ross Farm After an unforgettable May concert, the Joe Cirotti Trio returns to Ross Farm this fall! Don’t miss out on this very special evening! Join in the barn at the Ross Farm on Saturday, Sept. 28 for one more night with the Joe Cirotti Trio! This well-oiled string band from the shadows of Northwest Jersey’s Appalachian ridge was a delightful part of our 10th year of live music, playing to a packed barn back in May, and we are thrilled to have them back for a cozy autumn evening! The trio fuses their multi-instrumentalist upbringings with a passion for the roots of American folk, jazz, country, and bluegrass; their bond is rooted in proximity, strengthened by a blue-collar passion for picking, and buoyed by their shared propensity for roots music and whiskey. Formed in 2015, the current line-up of Joe Cirotti: guitar, Pete Lister: upright bass, and Timmy Coyle: mandolin and guitar, continues to craft a sound steeped in tradition yet infused with modern twists.
