Peter Chesson Memorial Car Show 2024 Spend Sunday, June 2, at Moorland Farm, where 100's of classic and exotic cars, hot rods and race cars, and everything automotive will be on display. The unique backdrop to this assembly of mechanical horsepower will once again be the estimable Essex Horse Trials. Gates open to spectators at 9:00 AM. Gates will be open for show cars, exhibitors, and vendors by 8:00 AM. Awards ceremonies are slated to commence circa 1:00 PM. Spectator general admission is per car, not per person. Show car passengers do not need to purchase additional admission tickets. This event happens rain or shine, in some format. Therefore, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Proceeds from this event benefit LifeCamp. LifeCamp is a fun and educational summertime experience for children and teens from greater Newark, teaching skills for life and school, and supported by donations as a non-profit organization.
