The Texier House Museum is typically open the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, but be sure to periodically check this page for any updates or event closings. Admission is FREE. Donations are always greatly appreciated.

American Cyanamid/Calco Pop-Up Museum American Cyanamid and Calco Chemicals have a prominent part in New Jersey history and the world. There are many people who worked there, had family members who worked there who can share stories, share memorabilia and enlighten others about the company, their work. We look forward to meeting the exhibitors, seeing the items and more! American Cyanamid/Calco saved the Van Horne House from destruction, restored and saved the house for future generations.
Disney’s Beauty and The Beast
Disney's Beauty and The Beast Disney's Beauty and the Beast is a stage musical based on the animated film of the same name and the fairy tale by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. The musical tells the story of Belle, a young woman who lives in a small village, and the Beast, who is actually a prince under an enchantress's spell. The Beast can break the spell by learning to love and being loved in return before the last petal of an enchanted rose falls.

Angela Pilgrim & Barbara Wallace Solo Exhibitions at The Center for Contemporary Art The Center for Contemporary Art is pleased to present two fall solo exhibitions on view September 27 through December 8. Angela Pilgrim: New Growth presents the work of Angela Pilgrim whose studio is in Newark, New Jersey. She explains, “My work explores the Black female gaze through figurative imagery of the body. Utilizing portraiture, printmaking, pattern making and mixed media.” Barbara Wallace: Sculpture showcases the work of sculptor Barbara Wallace, who resides in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Wallace is a sculptor known for her figurative art works and innovative use of recycled materials. When discussing her work, she explains, “Shape, form and structure are essential aspects of my sculptures created with a paper mache technique in recycled paper, cardboard, wire, metal and acrylic paint…. Using up-cycled resources addresses my concerns about climate change and the environment.”
