Santa at the Commons
NJ, United StatesHere Comes Santa Claus! The Jolly O’ St. Nick welcomes children of all ages for enchanted visits filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 12 through Saturday, Dec. 24. Set amongst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above, Santa Celebration will feature an authentic Kris Kringle perched in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his adoring guests. A bright and cheery, red photo frame sits in front of the famed wish-fulfiller proclaiming, “Holiday Joy.” Photo reservation and schedule page coming soon! Santa Photo Special Events Santa’s Luau! - Wed, Nov. 30, 4pm – close. Santa may work in the cold during the holidays, but he loves the tropics too! Don your best Hawaiian gear and join the fun! Santa Cares Day – Sunday, Dec. 4, 10am – 11am and Sunday, Dec. 18, 9am – 10am. Visits with Santa for those community members with special needs including and beyond that of autism. Children and adults within all spectrums of special needs and their families are welcome to their sensory-friendly event to experience
Festival of Trees
NJ, United StatesDecember is the time to visit the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center (EEC) to welcome winter and get into the holiday spirit! The festival is an indoor exhibit of decorated trees by various community groups and individuals alike. Enjoy holiday music and relax while viewing the beautiful trees! Please call 908-722-1200 (ext. 5328) or email mjuhasz@scparks.org to participate as an exhibitor and decorate a tree, to make group reservations or for more information. Suggested donation: $5.00 per person Friday, December 2 through Thursday, December 29, 2022, 9:00am-4:30pm 9:00am-4:30pm **Please note the EEC will be closed December 23, 24, 25, & 26**
HOLIDAY WREATH MAKING
NJ, United StatesHanging a fresh wreath kicks off the holiday season and fills your environment with spirit and festive fragrance. Learn how to make a traditional, lush mixed-green wreath, sure to wow you and your guests. We will use evergreens, berries, fruit, pinecones, pods, nuts, and ribbons to embellish your creation. All materials and supplies will be provided, but please bring a box to carry home your beautiful creation. Please meet at the reception area of the Park Commission Headquarters, North Branch Park, Bridgewater by 9:45am for the registration. Pre-registration and payment is required by December 5 by visiting http://www.somersetcountyparks.org or calling 908 722-1200 ext. 5721. Program is limited to 12 people. If you have individualized needs due to a disability, please call the Therapeutic Recreation Department of the Somerset County Park Commission at 908 526-5650 after you have registered for the program and they will arrange reasonable modifications. Three weeks' notice is required to ensure that the appropriate modifications can be provided. Individuals with a hearing/speech impairment, please call the Relay Service at 711.
Meet Santa in Montgomery
NJ, United StatesYou are cordially invited to "Meet Santa" at our Keller Williams Cornerstone office. Take pictures with Santa, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and pick up a goodie bag. This event is open to the public so please share. We are also collecting toys for Toys for Tots. Please bring new unwrapped toys to the Market Center.
4-H Holiday Craft Festival
