While they may look difficult to make, learning the design technique is quite easy. You will learn the step by step process used to create these jewels and a little bit of the history behind these small works of art. It’s a lot of fun and the results are always impressive. Santa will begin welcoming children of all ages for visits and photos filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Dec. 24. 10th Annual Winter Market & Christmas Tree Lighting

10th Annual Winter Market & Christmas Tree Lighting The Winter Market and Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Saturday, Dec 2, 2023. From 12-7 pm, the Winter Market will be held at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church on 22 S. Finley Ave in Basking Ridge. With over 30 local vendors and artisans, the Winter Market is a great place to shop for holiday wares and pick up gifts for family and friends!  Christmas trees and wreaths will also be available for sale.     From 5-5:30 pm, the Christmas Tree Lighting will have performances on the front steps of Coldwell Banker at 1 S. Tony award wining star of stage and screen, Laura Benanti, headlines the 10th Annual Winter Market and Christmas Tree Lighting. Ms. Benanti will perform a selection of holiday songs at the Basking Ridge Christmas Tree Lighting. Ms. Benanti has received five Tony Award nominations and won the 2008 Tony Award for her performance in “Gypsy.” She has recently starred in the movies, “No Hard Feelings” and “Tick, Tick… Boom.” Ms. Benanti has also starred on Broadway in 13 shows including “She Loves Me” and “My Fair Lady.” She has appeared in many television shows including Supergirl, Nashville, Life and Beth, and

Fungi Paper Making 2 Day Class Join Dorothy Smullen, teacher naturalist and instructor at New York Botanical Gardens for a two-part program on making paper from certain polypore fungi. We will make the paper on November 18th and then use the paper on December 2nd to create collage, sculpture and greeting cards. Preregistration is required by November 17 4:00pm $40 for New Jersey Audubon members and $50 for non-members Limited to 10 participants so register early! This is a special event
