  • Nature Days Enrichment Programs

    Nature Days Enrichment Programs

Nature Days Enrichment Programs At Nature Days, we let kids be kids as they explore, create, and discover! Our educators guide children through structured and unstructured learning and play time outdoors, helping children develop the creativity and critical thinking needed to build long-lasting connections with nature. Age appropriate activities let children develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills, encourage cooperative play, practice positive social behavior and communication skills. Our programs are made up of small groups of children with a low student to teacher ratio, allowing each child to get the attention they need. Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve has plenty of space to explore with quiet forests, trickling streams, colorful meadows, big skies, fresh air, and even some magical places where fairies are thought to live! Ages 3-5 Adult Participation Optional

  • Garden State Art Weekend: Vasant – A Spring Mosaic by Indian Artists

Bridgewater Commons Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ, United States

As part of the Garden State Art Weekend's second annual state-wide celebration of New Jersey's diverse and vibrant arts scene, Bridgewater Commons will host the work of 21 artists from the South Asian Artists Association of America (S4A). 'Vasant' means springtime in Sanskrit (the ancient classical language of India) and symbolizes happiness, new beginnings, hope, and prosperity. Come celebrate the arrival of the season through a mosaic of authentic and inspiring art at the Community Hub. The space will be transformed into a lively, vibrant, open, and elegant gallery and cultural venue for three days. S4A is a collective of artists with roots in South Asia now living in the U.S., who work in a wide variety of media including photography, painting, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and more. They draw inspiration from their South Asian heritage and modern cross-cultural life experiences, exhibiting together to promote and share their work with the public at large. Free and open to all, guests will meet the artists and learn about their approaches, experiences, and inspirations. Families can also partake in art activities and workshops.
