Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, United StatesDo you want a different nature challenge? Join Dorothy to study trees in winter without the help of leaves. Registrants will be studying twigs and their differences in order to identify the unknown tree. After an indoor session, we will walk the trails to see bark patterns. COST: $12 members, $15 nonmembers.

Join us Saturday, January 11th 2025 for astronomy shows and laser concerts for all ages at the RVCC Planetarium! 3:00 pm: The Little Star That Could (ages 6-12) 4:00 pm: Pop Rock Laser Concert (ages 6-adult) 7:00 pm: Asteroid: Mission Extreme (ages 8-adult) 8:00 pm: The Best of Pink Floyd Laser Concert (ages 10-adult) Reservations are recommended but not required. Angela Pilgrim & Barbara Wallace Solo Exhibitions at The Center for Contemporary Art The Center for Contemporary Art is pleased to present two fall solo exhibitions on view September 27 through December 8. Angela Pilgrim: New Growth presents the work of Angela Pilgrim whose studio is in Newark, New Jersey. She explains, “My work explores the Black female gaze through figurative imagery of the body. Utilizing portraiture, printmaking, pattern making and mixed media.” Barbara Wallace: Sculpture showcases the work of sculptor Barbara Wallace, who resides in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Wallace is a sculptor known for her figurative art works and innovative use of recycled materials. When discussing her work, she explains, “Shape, form and structure are essential aspects of my sculptures created with a paper mache technique in recycled paper, cardboard, wire, metal and acrylic paint…. Using up-cycled resources addresses my concerns about climate change and the environment.”
