Come join the Ukrainian History and Education Center for self-guided and expert-guided tours at St. Andrew Cemetery & Mausoleum, the Fisher Family Cemetery and St. Andrew Memorial Church in Somerset/South Bound Brook! Queens’ Trees Candlelight Tours
NJ, United StatesExplore the Christmas trees and customs of Queen Charlotte and Queen Victoria and the living history of Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee Trees and New Jersey’s heritage trees. This festive historic houses tour concludes our own jubilee year for 125 years of historic preservation at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage from Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897 to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Association are dedicated supporters of Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites carrying on the tradition of civic engagement in historic preservation at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage begun 125 years in 1897 by the Revolutionary Memorial Society of New Jersey. Today the association supports the State Park Service as New Jersey prepares for the 250th anniversary of New Jersey’s first Constitution in 2026 and George Washington’s winter headquarters at Wallace House in 2028-29: http://www.wallacehouseassociation.org/join.htm
Quilling for the Holidays
NJ, United StatesPresented by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher Naturalist. Quilling is a paper rolling art practiced since the renaissance. Lovely decorative items can be created in this fun paper craft. Holiday themes will be snowflakes, Poinsettias, and/or snowmen. Materials included. Recommended for ages 8 and older. Cost: $12.00 members, $15.00 non-members. One person per ticket. The Grinch – A Holiday Celebration

Santa Comes to Town / Tree Lightings
NJ, United StatesCome celebrate the start of the Holiday Season with our annual tree lighting, pictures with Santa, carolers, refreshments, hot chocolate, and luminaries. • Pictures with Santa will be held in the Vermeule Mansion beside the fireplace. *Please bring your camera to take a picture with Santa! • Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy or non-perishable food items and/or hygiene products for donation to our food pantry. • Hot chocolate is being donated by the North Plainfield Marching Band Parents. • Ven a celebrar el comienzo de la temporada navideña con nuestra iluminación anual de árbol, fotos con Papá Noel, cantantes de villancicos, refrigerios, chocolate caliente y luminarias. • Las fotos con Papá Noel se tomarán en la Vermeule Mansion junto a la chimenea. *¡Trae tu cámara para tomarte una foto con Papá Noel! • Considera traer un juguete nuevo, sin envolver o alimentos no perecederos y/o productos de higiene para donarlos a nuestra despensa de alimentos. • El chocolate caliente es una donación de los padres de North Plainfield Marching Band.
