Please join us at the J. Malcolm Belcher Fairgrounds on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 6:00 PM for our first annual Holiday Event. This free family event is open to our Far Hills Community and will feature the lighting of the holiday tree, yummy refreshments, entertainment, and more! Event will take place rain or shine.

Prizes given out for the best decorated fire and emergency vehicles, personal floats vehicle, and best decorated houses and/or businesses in Somerville Parade Starts at Dusk (approx 6:00 pm) Staging: 2:00 to 5:00 pm Parade Registration and Waiver can be done by email (sfdholidaylights57@gmail.com) or snail mail All fire departments, rescue squads, and law enforcement agencies STATEWIDE are welcome to participate. Additionally, community based organizations (i.e. scouts, churches, schools, etc) are also welcome and encouraged to participate. Event day registration and check-in will be at the SFD Engine Co. #1 firehouse at 170 E. Main St.

Led by a guide in period 18th century clothing, visit rooms of the house, decorated for the season. Learn about the house, Staats family and early history of Christmas. Enjoy light refreshments and seasonal music.  Admission:  $10 per person with advance reservation (recommended) and $15 for walk-in. Tour size is limited.
