A Holiday Season Parade The December 14th Holiday Parade. Starting in the Bernardsville Center (80 Morristown Road) at 5pm ending at the High School. Local business and community groups will show off what Bville has to offer. Rain or Shine! Come early to shop the Center, pick your viewing spot and enjoy the festivities. Food vendor and performances at the end of the route. Free hot chocolate and prime viewing location at Community In Crisis, 9 Church Street.

Holiday Astronomy Shows & Laser Concerts at the RVCC Planetarium Join on Saturday afternoons and evenings for our public astronomy shows and laser concerts at the RVCC Planetarium! 3:00 pm - The Alien Who Stole Christmas 4:00 pm - Winter Wonder Lights Laser Concert 7:00 pm - Astronomy Tonight 8:00 pm - Winter Wonder Lights Laser Concert Tickets are $11 per person for one show, $20 per person for two. Downtown Somerville Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl 2024

Downtown Somerville Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl 2024 We are excited to announce we are back with our 4th Annual Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl through Downtown Somerville New Jersey! Similar to the Halloween crawl, we expect everyone to come dressed up as their favorite holiday characters, or sporting their worst ugly sweater! Tickets are $10 and we are happy to announce all proceeds from ticket sales and a portion of our sales at Project PUB for the evening will go to Toys for Tots & Somerset County Animal Shelter to help spread a little cheer. Tickets get you wristbands, wristbands get you discounts & deals. You will also receive a pack of hand warmers and a little thank you for your donation. We will be meeting on the corner of Division st and Main st at 8:30 for wristbands and ID checks and then we head out to the first of several stops as we spread holiday cheer with spirits and beer! There will be drink specials and good times had by all. Stops will include Salted Lime, Verve, Project PUB & Tapastre, Village Brewing, Alfonso's, Mannion's & Clubhouse!

Angela Pilgrim & Barbara Wallace Solo Exhibitions at The Center for Contemporary Art The Center for Contemporary Art is pleased to present two fall solo exhibitions on view September 27 through December 8. Angela Pilgrim: New Growth presents the work of Angela Pilgrim whose studio is in Newark, New Jersey. She explains, “My work explores the Black female gaze through figurative imagery of the body. Utilizing portraiture, printmaking, pattern making and mixed media.” Barbara Wallace: Sculpture showcases the work of sculptor Barbara Wallace, who resides in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Wallace is a sculptor known for her figurative art works and innovative use of recycled materials. When discussing her work, she explains, “Shape, form and structure are essential aspects of my sculptures created with a paper mache technique in recycled paper, cardboard, wire, metal and acrylic paint…. Using up-cycled resources addresses my concerns about climate change and the environment.”

Festival of Trees 46th Anniversary December is the time to visit the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center (EEC) to welcome winter and get into the holiday spirit! The festival is an indoor exhibit of decorated trees by various community groups and individuals alike. Enjoy holiday music and relax while viewing the beautiful trees! Please call 908-722-1200 (ext. 5328) or email mjuhasz@scparks.org to participate as an exhibitor and decorate a tree, to make group reservations or for more information. Suggested donation: $5 per person.
