Beer and Yoga at Flounder Always striving to bring the highest quality to every experience here at Flounder Brewing we are excited to bring Beer+Yoga by Savannah Mignella. Read below to find out how this experience truly integrates beer and yoga in one of the most picturesque tap rooms in New Jersey. Tickets are required and the link is below. Join us every second Sunday! Beer+Yoga come together for a unique 60 minute yoga class to open up the senses in Flounder Brewing Company’s private loft! Yoga is known for increasing flexibility, calming the mind, and releasing stress; but yoga can also be used to ignite the 5 senses. Through yoga we’ll open up the five senses and discover how movement, breathe, and mindfulness can increase our flavor and scent receptors allowing us to smell and taste all of the notes of beer! Instructor Savannah Mignella will lead us flowing through this all-level friendly yoga class open to everyone 21+. The ticket includes 1 beer (fine print for regulations: the beer is within the sample amount allowed in conjunction with a tour of a Brewery). Tickets are required! Snyder's Fall Festival Come to Snyder’s Farm and enjoy a well-organized day of family fun! From pumpkin picking and loads of fun activities to all your favorite fall comfort foods, like apple cider, cider donuts & yummy food trucks, we have something that is sure to please everyone. The Fall festival is held weekends only, hours are 11am to 6pm last entry and wagon ride to the event field is 4:30 We will not be open on Columbus Day 2024 Dates: October 5/6, 12/13, 19/20, 26/27 Discounts offered for Seniors and Military (must show Military ID) FYI: Our tractor pulled wagon is how you get to our fall festal event field, if you do not wish to take the wagon ride and want to walk, upon admission you must ask our team member to give you a driveway pass, those without passes will not be able to gain access to the driveway. Currently do not take credit cards; an ATM will be on premise should you need it. Song's America Voted by - Weekend Journey Through the Past Historical musician and balladeer Linda Russell takes you on a romp through elections past as you hear the ditties that inspired Americans to vote. She sings gems like Tippecanoe and Tyler, Too; Grover's Veto and You're Alright, Teddy. When the Whig Party nominated New Jersey’s Theodore Frelinghuysen for vice president in 1844, one songster found a rhyme to Frelinghuysen! Bring your own lawn chair or blanket for this autumnal afternoon outdoors concert at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites. The Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Association sponsors this program. Sunday, October 13 @ 4:00 pm The Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church welcomes you to special concert featuring distinguished artists Janet Lantz on French Horn and Susan Sobolewski on Piano. Works by Chopin, Mozart and Strauss will be featured. This free concert will be performed on Sunday October 13 at 4:00 pm. Janet Lantz, French horn player, enjoys a rewarding and wide-ranging career as a freelance artist in the New York area and beyond. She regularly appears with the Greenwich CT, Vermont, Northeastern Pennsylvania, and New Jersey Symphony Orchestras. Janet excels in a broad array of musical genres including symphonic, opera, jazz, Broadway, chamber music, and period-instrument ensembles. Her longstanding career as a Broadway musician includes no less than sixty-four (64) productions, starting with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Song and Dance.” A frequent recitalist, The New York Times described Janet’s playing at her Weill Recital Hall concert as “nimble and secure on the horn.” Some of her most memorable performances are those playing in big bands at the iconic Village
