Whisky Weekend @ Bellemara Distillery It's official: June 16-18 is Whisky Weekend at Bellemara, where we'll be releasing two whiskies, the first bottling of our Single Cask Barrel Strength series and the first iteration of our Signature American Single Malt Whisky. To celebrate, we're excited to also be hosting a few special opportunities for you to enjoy and learn about our whiskies. Our Whisky 101 Class - American Single Malts is deep dive session where you will learn about the production process starting with malted barley all the way through the science of distillation and barrel maturation. Includes a guided tasting of both whiskies. The Whisky Tour & Tasting is a shorter behind the scenes tour of the distillery with a focus on whisky production and barrel aging. Learn about the single malt process from grain to glass and enjoy a guided tasting of our whiskies. We also have just a few spots available in our Distillery Club as well. Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. One person per ticket. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please bring binoculars if you have them.
