These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover.     Join WMA 9 Ambassador Brianna for an invasive species removal at Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Historic Site! Help improve this historic waterway and the nearby Eastern redcedar trees by removing the harmful and aggressive plants that have taken over! Removing these plants will allow for the native trees to flourish and provide better habitat for wildlife.  Date: March 29 (Rain Date March 30) Location: Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Historic Site (71 Somerset Street, Somerville, NJ 08876) Time: 10 AM - 12:30 PM Please park at the Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage's parking area, located at 71 Somerset Street, Somerville, NJ 08876. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy close toed shoes. Bring plenty of water. Light refreshments and restrooms will be available.     Walk an Alpaca - Saturday Mornings PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! NON REFUNDABLE!!!!! NON CHANGEABLE!!!! Alpaca Halter Training (Walking): Walk one of our beautiful, friendly Alpacas around our property. Enjoy their wonderful personalities and cuteness overload. You will be instructed on how to handle your alpaca and we will give you a little bit of information on our Alpacas. 1 reservation is 1 Alpaca and 1 Person. Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!!
