Santa @ The Commons

Santa @ the Commons Presented by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset 11/11 – 12/24, Center Court He’s back! Santa will begin welcoming children of all ages for visits and photos filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Dec. 24. Set amongst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above, Santa Celebration will feature an authentic Kris Kringle perched in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his adoring guests.  A bright and cheery, red photo frame sits in front of the famed wish-fulfiller proclaiming, “Holiday Joy.” SANTA PHOTO HOURS November 11 Saturday 1pm – 8pm November 12 - November 22 Monday - Friday 12pm - 7pm Saturday 11am - 8pm Sunday 12pm - 6pm THANKSGIVING DAY CLOSED November 24 - December 14 Monday - Thursday 11am - 7pm Friday - Saturday 10am - 8pm Sunday 12pm - 6pm Saturday, December 2, 12:30pm – 8pm Tuesday, December 5, 11am – 4pm Thursday, December 7, 11am – 3pm December 15 - 23 Daily 10am - 8pm Sunday, December 24, 10am

Swamp Kids Become a Swamp Kid! This program is designed to let the child’s curiosity and passion guide their learning. Nature is a great teacher for this outdoor, afterschool series! $40 for 4-day session per person

Nature Ramblers

Nature Ramblers (Adult) Join the Nature Ramblers and learn more about New Jersey’s natural areas while making new friends and enjoying the fresh air. Stroll the trails stopping to view natural items such as interesting plants, insects, butterflies, and mushrooms as part of the experience. Participants will meet at different locations, such as Hunterdon, Morris, and Somerset Counties. Detailed information and address will be provided to registered participants prior to the trip date. $9 per senior $11 per adult

Step into the future with Scherman Hoffman

Step into the future with Scherman Hoffman Join for a twice a month to hike/walk the grounds of Scherman Hoffman with our new Center Director, Jan Hudson. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas 1:1 or in a small group setting. Share your history, involvement, and love of the Sanctuary, give input and feedback regarding the center and get your thoughts and ideas heard. Get your steps in with Jan while learning more about Scherman Hoffman’s future plans! Walk subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Please make sure to wear appropriate hiking footwear. We maybe traversing rocky or uneven ground. This walk is intended for adults and older children. This walk is a social, networking event and not educational in nature. Park in the second upper parking lot and meet outside of the red door. Cost: Free, Limited to 5 participants per walk CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund if applicable. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours
