NJ Audubon Hawk Watches at Scherman Hoffman Observation Deck
NJ Audubon Hawk Watches at Scherman Hoffman Observation Deck Join our Naturalist on the observation deck for a bird’s eye view of fall migration. We'll be looking for migrating raptors and any passerines passing through. Marvel at the spectacular views of Broad-winged Hawk kettles as they fly over the sanctuary, Bald Eagles, and other raptors. Hawk Watches are scheduled for Fridays, 9/8, 9/15, and 9/22 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and Thursdays, 9/7, 9/14. and 9/21 from 1:00 to 3:30 PM. Loaner binoculars will be available. Note: a hawk watch day will be cancelled if there is rain, snow, or weather warnings. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. Registration and fee are per date. You must pre-register for each date you wish to attend. Ticket sales ends at 4:00 PM on the day before each hawk watch. Interested in becoming a member?
