Join us for a meaningful lunch-hour conversation with Rebecca Bloom, longtime women’s health advocate and author of When Women Get Sick. Drawing on decades of experience working at the intersection of law, insurance, and healthcare, Bloom offers clear, practical guidance for navigating diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Through real stories and actionable insight, this program will explore how women can better communicate with doctors, build effective support systems, and advocate for care that reflects their needs and values. This is not a medical lecture or a traditional book talk. It is a practical, empowering conversation designed to leave attendees with tools they can use immediately, whether they are managing their own health or supporting someone they love. Children will experience a variety of mediums including clay, paint, papier-mache, pastels, and watercolors. Students will be encouraged to express themselves in ways without words, using creativity and emotions.
