Members’ Juried Exhibition
The Center for Contemporary Art 2020 Burnt Mills Road, Bedminster, NJ, United StatesThe Center for Contemporary Art (“The Center”) is pleased to announce its 2025 Members’ Juried Exhibition, an opportunity for members to showcase their artwork in any and all media. The variety and range of entries is a testament to the diversity and creativity of The Center’s community of artists. There are seventy-five works of art by members in painting, printmaking, charcoal, ink, graphite, pastel, fiber, photography, mixed media, ceramics, and more. The Pirates of Penzance
Sieminski Theater 8000 Fellowship Road, Basking RIdge, NJLight Opera of New Jersey brings Gilbert & Sullivan’s beloved comic operetta to life in this rollicking production. The story follows Frederic, mistakenly apprenticed to a band of aristocratic pirates, who falls for Mabel—daughter of the boisterous Major?General Stanley. A leap?year birthday loophole complicates his pursuit of love, leading to comedic chaos with pirates, policemen (complete with impressive mustaches), and a host of charming characters. The production features witty dialogue, catchy melodies—including the iconic “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major?General”—and lively musical direction by Jason Tramm, under the direction of Nicholas Wuehrmann.

Norz Hill Farm Farmers Market In addition to its regular farm market hours, Norz Hill Farm is adding a weekly farmers market to its schedule of community-friendly events this summer. Taking place on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at 120 South Branch Road in Hillsborough, the market will feature wholesome foods and items from area vendors. “The purpose of the market is to offer fresh food and products to Somerset County and neighboring regions,” said Megan Norz, the farm market manager. The market will take place rain or shine, except in the event of severe weather.
