Hillsborough Rotary Fair The 15th annual Hillsborough Rotary Fair kicks off Tuesday, August 15, with new thrill rides, more food vendors and an updated interactive digital map allowing fairgoers to plan their visit in advance and link directly to the Expo’s local businesses. Located at the fairgrounds adjacent to the Hillsborough Promenade (315 Route 206 next to Lowes), the Rotary Fair draws over 15,000 visitors annually from Hillsborough and surrounding communities. Many fairgoers are second and third generation attendees, and consider the family-friendly fair a family tradition. With 20 amusement rides, fireworks, games of chance, food vendors, and a local business exposition, there is something at the Fair for everyone.  Fair hours are 6-10 PM on Tuesday through Thursday, and 6-11 PM on Friday and Saturday. The updated digital FAIR MAP , which was developed by Pinnacle Health and Fitness of Hillsborough, has undergone a number of improvements, and continuously uploads new and valuable information for attendees. Cashless Ride Payment System The Rotary Fair will once again feature a cashless payment system for all Fair rides.  Patrons will purchase a special wristband at kiosks available throughout the fairgrounds.  The wrist bands are then used in place of tickets to gain entry to the rides.  The cost of

Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. One person per ticket. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please bring binoculars if you have them.
