Passport through Ukraine: Summer Camp Travel through the regions of Ukraine with the UHEC as we learn about Ukrainian folk art, history and geography. During the Passport Through Ukraine Summer Camp, participants will have a daily opportunity to make a craft inspired by different regions of Ukraine. Daily educational and art-based lessons have been curated by the UHEC Education Department and tailored for students aged 5 to 10. In Person Summer Camp When: August 7-11, 2023 Time: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM EST Where: 135 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, NJ 08873 Cost: $150 Includes supplies, in person instruction, 5 crafts, passport/daily journal Advanced registration is required In-person capacity is limited on a first come first served basis. Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. One person per ticket. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please bring binoculars if you have them.
