NJ Audubon: Bluebird Nestbox Workshop

Led by Stephanie Punnett, Program Director Entice bluebirds to your backyard with a nestbox to raise their young! Eastern Bluebirds are great insect eaters. In this workshop you will assemble a nestbox from a kit, walk outdoors to look in a few nestboxes to look for and identify last year’s nests, and learn how to maintain your nestbox. We’ll look at several ways to mount your nestbox in your yard. Recommended for adults. COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers. One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends 4/13 at 9:00 AM. Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries

This show takes visitors to the deserts and mountaintops where astronomy happens in the most extreme environments and with some of the most interesting people. Weather permitting, the 3M Observatory will be open after the show.  (Recommended for ages 8 to adult)

Dance all night to the music of Anne and Ridley Enslow while Dance Master Extraordinaire, Lazarus Turner calls the dances, with wife, Elizabeth helps with the steps! Beginning with a dance a 4-year-old can perform, adding a step each dance, will bring us to more complicated dances at the end of the night. NO EXPERIENCE Necessary. Take a break from dancing, flirting and showing off your party clothes in the Tavern where refreshment is offered. Relax, enjoy friends and frivolity.
