NJ, United StatesThe Atlantic Visiting Nurse Rummage Sale involves hundreds of volunteers and attracts thousands of bargain hunters who scour our two acres and 25 departments of bargain merchandise including: Adult and children’s clothing Appliances Antiques Pet supplies Electronics Lighting fixtures Cameras Fabric and sewing accessories Holiday decorations Sporting goods Furniture Jewelry Toys Books Decorative items Kitchen goods, and more We greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness in donating items to our rummage sale. Each sale we are overwhelmed with the magnitude of your generosity in donating gently used clothing, furniture and household items. The variety of your items is what makes rummage such a special event and keeps our shoppers coming back.
Fall Harvest Days
NJ, United StatesNorz Hill Farm has been in our family since 1922 when Hillsborough was very rural and all of our neighbors were farmers. Today most all of you, our neighbors from near and far, are generations removed from farm families so it is very important to us to be able to provide an educational, breathtaking and fun experience while visiting our Farm. Farm Tours The tour takes you on a hay wagon ride from our farm stand area to the farm, then you can get off and see all the animals. Some of the animals you will find are cows, miniature donkeys (yep, we have a Dominick the donkey!), horses, alpaca, sheep, chickens, goats, pigs, bunnies, emu's and even a zonkey. Then when you have had a chance to see all the animals, you can catch the next hayride right to our pumpkin patch. The Corn Maze Each and every year we dedicate our corn maze to either events that happen on our farm or a great local cause. A Journey Through Asia Exhibit and Dance at Bridgewater Commons
NJ, United StatesExperience the beauty of Southeast Asian culture! In partnership with The Rural Painter, a N.J.-based art curator offering artists from Southeast Asia the opportunity to showcase their work, this weekend-long event will feature an original art exhibit and workshops in Community Hub along with three days of lively dance performances in Center Court (Fri 5:30pm, Sat 1pm & 3pm, Sun 1pm). Norz Scare Farm

However due to CoVid-19 safety concerns, our Creepy Hollow, Paranoia Walking Trails and The Slayride - Hayride will be one continuous Attraction for One Price. This will allow for better Social Distancing and Safety precautions for our Customers and Actors Do all three attractions! Don’t want to wait in line. Intro to Birding: Into the Meadow
NJ, United StatesLearn the basics of bird identification using visual and behavioral cues, along with some common songs and vocalizations. Each participant will receive a basic guide to the common birds of Duke Farms. It’s a great way to get to know our feathered friends while learning more about the natural habitats that support them. Bring binoculars if you have them. We will also be suggesting apps on your phone that you might enjoy using. This program is appropriate for adults. Please dress for the weather, this class is entirely outdoors. Long pants and tick deterrents are recommended. Participants should expect to be walking about 2 miles on various trail types for the full duration of the class. Meet in front of the Farm Barn Orientation Center for check-in. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the start of class. We cannot accommodate late arrivals and the class will depart on time. DUKE FARMS PROGRAM GUIDELINES: Please stay home if you are sick. Nature Infused Yoga
NJ, United StatesTicket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. Led by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Preregistration is required. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. COST: $13 members, $16 nonmembers. Ticket sales ends at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class.
