Amani’s 19th Annual Holiday Celebration at Watchung

Amani was formed to share the concept of peace through music, performing for people of all ages, races, and religious affiliations. Amani performs hits from a variety of genres including The Great American Songbook, Gospel, R&B, jazz, Bossa nova, and Broadway. This performance, of course, will include a selection of holiday favorites. The members of the group are veteran musicians led by Marty Eigen on woodwinds, vocalist Stephen Fuller, pianist Tomoko Ohno, bassist Ben Rubens, Gordon Lane on drums and Flip Peters on guitar. This will be the 19th Annual Holiday visit to the WAC by Eigen, who has been a frequent contributor to the Center’s “JaZZ in the Gallery” series, with his Beacon Hill Jazz Band as well as with other noted jazz performers. Tickets are $25 per person and should be purchased in advance. Limited tickets available at the door. Masking is on a voluntary basis.

Here Comes Santa Claus! The Jolly O’ St. Nick welcomes children of all ages for enchanted visits filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 12 through Saturday, Dec. 24. Set amongst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above, Santa Celebration will feature an authentic Kris Kringle perched in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his adoring guests.  A bright and cheery, red photo frame sits in front of the famed wish-fulfiller proclaiming, “Holiday Joy.” Photo reservation and schedule page coming soon! Santa Photo Special Events Santa’s Luau! - Wed, Nov. 30, 4pm – close. Santa may work in the cold during the holidays, but he loves the tropics too! Don your best Hawaiian gear and join the fun! Santa Cares Day – Sunday, Dec. 4, 10am – 11am and Sunday, Dec. 18, 9am – 10am. Visits with Santa for those community members with special needs including and beyond that of autism. Children and adults within all spectrums of special needs and their families are welcome to their sensory-friendly event to experience

Breakfast with Santa

Festival of Trees

December is the time to visit the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center (EEC) to welcome winter and get into the holiday spirit! The festival is an indoor exhibit of decorated trees by various community groups and individuals alike. Enjoy holiday music and relax while viewing the beautiful trees!
