The Wisdom of Eve at Farmstead Arts The Lord Stirling Theater Company presents "The Wisdom of Eve" adapted for the stage by Mary Orr from her 1946 short story. Directed by Jeanne Johnston. A riveting drama that unfolds in the glamorous world of Broadway. The story follows Eve Harrington, a seemingly innocent fan who becomes enamored with the renowned actress Margo Crane. As Eve insinuates herself into Margo's life, her facade of adoration begins to crack, revealing a manipulative and ambitious character. Tensions escalate as loyalties are tested and secrets are unveiled, culminating in a gripping showdown that explores the dark underbelly of ambition and fame.

Raritan Valley Symphonic Band Annual Pops Concert Raritan Valley Symphonic Band presents its annual Pops Concert “Broadway, Hollywood, and Marches” at Bridgewater High School - Free Raritan Valley Symphonic Band Annual Pops Concerts – “Broadway, Hollywood, and Marches” William Berz, Conductor Friday, June 14 @ Franklin High School 7 pm Sunday, June 16 @ Bridgewater High School 3 pm The Raritan Valley Symphonic Band presents its annual Pops Concert “Broadway, Hollywood, and Marches” at two different locations for the first time in its 40 year history: (1) Friday, June 14 @ Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Ave., Somerset NJ – 7 pm (2) Sunday, June 16 @ Bridgewater High School, 600 Garretson Road, Bridgewater NJ – 3 pm Admission to both concerts is free. Conducted by Musical Director William Berz, the concert will feature a wide section of American marches, Broadway show tunes, and Hollywood movie music. RVSB members Frank Amato and John Hylkema will also be conducting. The concert begins with John Phillip Sousa’s The Naval Reserve March, composed by Sousa while in charge of the Great Lakes Navy Band program during World War I and dedicated to the officers and men of the Naval Reserve. The Wisdom of Eve The Lord Stirling Theater Company will perform “The Wisdom of Eve” in the English Barn Theater at the Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. “The Wisdom of Eve” will open on Friday, June 7, at 7:30PM, with additional performances on June 8 at 7:30PM, June 9 at 2:00PM, June 14 at 7:30PM, June 15 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM. Tickets are $25 general admission, $23 for seniors (65 and over) and students, $20 for Farmstead Arts members, and $15 for children under 12.
