Sacred Sudes: A Natural Soap-Making Workshop

Led by long-time soap-maker, Iris M. Gonzalez, this workshop will walk you through the full saponification process—turning simple, sacred ingredients into nourishing bars of organic soap. ? Each participant will take part in preparing a batch using botanical ingredients and personal oils—and will leave with recipes and a bar to cure at home. ? Kelli Bruno @ Flounder
Flounder Brewing 2 Clerico Lane, HillsboroughOne-woman band Kelli Bruno is indie-folk bourbon for the soul. Her breathtaking vocals, thoughtfully crafted accompaniment, and compelling stage presence draw the audience right up on stage with her. Kelli's original music is grounded in folk with flares of indie and pop, while her cover repertoire spans the decades from the American Songbook and classic rock, to R&B and today's pop. Catching her live is a musical journey through piano, guitar, ukulele and loop pedal magic. A proud New Jersey native, Kelli has worked with musicians all across the country through Musicians On Call, the nation's leading provider of live music in hospitals. Through volunteering regularly with MOC she has witnessed the healing power of music time and time again. As a professional solo artist, Kelli has become a regular at venues like The Stone Pony, Crossroads, Rockwood Music Hall and other venues across the New York City area. She released her debut album, Nomahegan in 2018 and her second album, Company in November of 2022. You can find her music on all digital streaming services, CD and vinyl.

Comedy Night at Willie McBride’s
Willie McBrides 1270 CR-614, SomervilleIf you're looking for a great way to spend a Saturday night, then Comedy Night at Willie McBride's in Branchburg on Saturday August 16, 2025 should be at the top of your list. You'll see the comedy stars of tomorrow in one of the best comedy clubs in the area. Tickets are $20 The show starts at 7:00. Doors open at 6:15. Make an evening of it by having dinner at Willie McBride's, then going to the show. Please note that you must buy a ticket to the show. Dinner reservations are separate and do not include a show ticket. Important things to remember: 1) The only way to guarantee a seat at the show is by purchasing a ticket in advance. Making dinner reservations by calling the restaurant will NOT guarantee you a seat at the show. 2) No food will be served downstairs before or during the show. If you'd like to eat before the show, please call Willie McBride's at 908-722-1113 and make a dinner reservation.
