The Lord Stirling Theater Company will perform their adaptation of Oliver Goldsmith’s classic madcap comedy “She Stoops to Conquer” in the English Barn Theater at the Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. “She Stoops to Conquer” will open on Friday, May 30, at 7:30PM, with additional performances on May 31 at 7:30PM, June 1 at 2:00PM, June 6 and 7 at 7:30PM, and June 8 at 2:00PM. Led by Angus Macaulay, Teacher/Naturalist. Join us at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary for a look into the nocturnal world of moths. Late spring marks a peak in moth activity. Indoors we will discuss collecting techniques, local species, their life cycle and importance to our environment. Then, with the aid of traps and special lighting, we will begin collecting specimens to be identified and released. This program is suitable for all ages. Please come dressed for the weather.
