Here Comes Santa Claus! The Jolly O’ St. Nick welcomes children of all ages for enchanted visits filled with holiday magic. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 12 through Saturday, Dec. 24. Set amongst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above, Santa Celebration will feature an authentic Kris Kringle perched in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his adoring guests. A bright and cheery, red photo frame sits in front of the famed wish-fulfiller proclaiming, “Holiday Joy.” Photo reservation and schedule page coming soon! Celebrate this annual Nutcracker tradition with your family! Featuring a live orchestra! This holiday favorite tells the magical story of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they battle toy soldiers and larger-than-life mice, and travel through a whirlwind of dancing snowflakes to the Land of Sweets. Greeted by the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier, Clara enjoys a suite of brilliant and joyful dances before opening her eyes to the familiar sights of her home, wondering if it was all a dream.
The Bernardsville Farmers’ Market features local farmers, bakers, florists and specialty food preparers, along with live music by PB&J, pop-up vendors and special events. Located in the parking lot of the historic Bernardsville train station, this market is open every Saturday from 9am-1pm from June 11 to December 17 (except October 15 and November 26).
December is the time to visit the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center (EEC) to welcome winter and get into the holiday spirit! The festival is an indoor exhibit of decorated trees by various community groups and individuals alike. Enjoy holiday music and relax while viewing the beautiful trees! Bring your child, family, or pet to the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company for a picture with Santa. Doors open at 1:00pm and event ends at 4:00pm. After your visit with Santa, your child will be able to make a picture frame for that special picture and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. For a suggested donation of $20.00 per family you can bring a wrapped present, limit one present per child, to the fire house on December 16th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to drop off the wrapped present. On the day of the event when your child goes up to see Santa the wrapped present will be given by Santa to your child
