The restaurant is co-owned by Giuseppe (Joey) Trani and Kari LaSpisa. Joey was born in Princeton, NJ and moved back to the island of Ischia in Italy with his family when he was 6. He spent the next 30 years there until returning back to the US. While in Italy Joey attended culinary school and eventually owned 2 pubs on the island. Since returning to the United States in 2014, Kari and Joey have worked together in several restaurants over the last 10 years. Cafe Basilico is Kari and Joey’s latest adventure and biggest concept change.

Capital Craft combines the warm, relaxed atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern with a menu to impress the palate. Our chef puts an eclectic, flavorful spin on what you’ve come to expect from a gastro pub. Offerings are freshly prepared, with superior ingredients like locally sourced meats, organic produce and artisan cheeses. Acclaimed chefs/proprietors Andrew Pantano and Steven Borton opened the Claremont Tavern in 2011.   This smart, casual spot serves excellent drinks and modern takes on American and global comfort foods in a comfortable and polished atmosphere.   The menu has been designed carefully to offer many tavern staples and favorites, all with a creative touch. The second floor has been renovated to host additional televisions for sporting wvents, an additional bar, and a small kid’s arcade (also available for catering small groups or gatherings).

Country Squire Restaurant, serving Warren, NJ since 1974, has an expanded menu, as well as a new ice cream bar and full coffee bar with flavored coffees, cappuccino, and espresso. We offer on- and off-premise catering. All of our baking is done in our own bakery; call to place your special occasion orders for goodies such as birthday cakes, cheese cakes, pies, cookies, and Greek pastries. Opening at 6:00 a.m. daily, we offer Senior discounts, daily lunch and dinner specials, and orders to take out.
