BIG YELLOW TAXI: The Music of Joni Mitchell

There is no other ensemble playing the music of Joni Mitchell with the dedication and imagination that BYT brings to every show. Created to explore Joni’s amazing music from its early folk roots to her pop masterpieces to her jazz influenced compositions, Big Yellow Taxi brings Joni’s music alive. ?The band features the expressive and soaring voice of Teresa Lorenço. Teresa’s vocals pay homage to Joni’s sweet, husky, and bell-like voice delivering an emotional journey through Joni’s expansive catalog. ?The mission of the band is to present a show that immerses the audience in an intimate journey through many of Joni’s best loved and most powerful songs: a performance beyond mere imitation, to delve into Joni’s musical intensity and genius, to leave audiences entertained, moved, and elated.

Tickets $51 – $71 (inclusive of all fees) SONGBIRD Starring Karine Hannah, a Montreal-born and New York-based vocalist/performer who worked with legendary songwriter, Jim Steinman (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”, “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”). Jim once said: “Karine is the best voice I’ve worked with since Céline Dion.” Karine Hannah’s voice hits hard. She can deliver an overpoweringly emotional ballad as well as the best in the biz, and her on stage banter is humorous, bawdy, and electrifying.?? “If you close your eyes and listen to Karine Hannah’s astonishing voice, you might believe you are actually listening to Barbra herself…and you’ll be amazed to find out the magic doesn’t disappear when you open your eyes!” Her recording credits include: 2 top 10 billboard charting singles “Burning Up” and “Victory” and an EP released by Cash Money Records/Republic Records/Universal Music. She performed throughout North America, including recent performances at The Paramount, Tilles Center, Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, City Winery with a musical palette and vocal capabilities that are wide and varied. Her passion for singing and performing the music of Barbra Streisand has been her signature and staple since childhood.

Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist. Trilogy Rep is a local community theater in residence at the Sieminski Theater.
