Join us for an exciting evening at the Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve in Bedminster, NJ, as we witness the mesmerizing mating dance of the Woodcock! This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures up close in their natural habitat.

Learn to identify the trees of Fairview Farm, sketch outside then warm up around the fire to complete your artwork with watercolor! Learn to identify the trees of Fairview Farm with an expert guide from Gracie and Harrigan Consulting Foresters, and create quick sketched studies with the help of artist Julie Goetz. After our walk we will gather around the wood burning stove in our nature classroom and complete our artwork with watercolor. All art supplies will be provided. Hot tea will be served, dress in layers!

We’ll gather under the full wolf moon, go for a night hike on the trails, and end with a big howl! Bundle up and get ready for a festive, bright night of laughter and community…s’mores and warm drinks will be served around the campfire!

Raritan Headwaters continues the tradition of celebrating a historic European festival celebrating autumn at the end of the agricultural year and the beginning of the harvest. Festive music plays as we carry our lanterns through the meadows of Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve on a moonlit night. Enjoy delicious wood fire pizza from Testo Pizza. Additional activities this year include face painting, flower crowns, and a fairy ball. Please leave your pets at home!
