Urban Cottage is a vintage furniture and home decorating store owned by Michelle McGonegal.  A gifted painter and graphic artist, McGonegal views old furniture as art, and has a lifetime love of scouting estate sales to satisfy her appreciation for vintage treasures.  In addition to these treasures, at Urban Cottage you’ll find organically made gift items, handcrafted by local artists. 

   The Vested Interest was founded in 1993 on the notion that women love to shop. So much so, in fact, that they own far more things then they could ever really wear, yet still always crave something new.  All of the items here are in new or next to new condition and most of them came from Niemans, Bloomingdales,
