NJ Audubon Digital Photography Workshop 6: Creative Photography
NJLed by Instructor – Jacki Dickert (https://www.lightdance.org/) In this lecture, Jacki Dickert will delve into “the art of seeing,” incorporating elements of design into images, awakening the imagination, and using the camera to its fullest to create special effects. In addition, she will demonstrate some digital editing effects and techniques that will allow for the creation of unique works of art. You will leave feeling encouraged about making beautiful images without having to travel to exotic locations.? New Jersey photographer and educator Jacki Dickert?is passionate about sharing the beauty of the natural world. Her images reflect an open and creative way of seeing, often incorporating exquisite lighting and flowing forms.? A recently retired elementary school teacher, Ms. Dickert is now an exhibiting artist who lectures at photography clubs, libraries, and community centers around the state. ?For more information visit www.lightdance.org? Charlotte’s Web
NJA story of relationships with the enchanting characters from the book: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will provide an evening of enchantment.

NJA family from another star system is seeking the perfect vacation spot. Fly over the surface of Pluto, our best known dwarf planet; sail through the rings of Saturn; feel Jupiter’s lightning storms; and walk on the surface of Mars. Which destination will they choose? (Recommended for ages 6-12)

NJLasers dance across the dome while we listen to songs you can sing along with. Songs include "Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Jae Jepsen, and "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift to name just a few. (recommended for ages 6-12)
Black Holes
NJ“Black Holes” takes audience members on a journey through one of the most mystifying, awe-inspiring phenomena in the universe: a black hole. Take a virtual tour through space and explore the science and mystery of black holes: Where do they come from? How do we find them? Is there one on Earth’s horizon? Weather permitting, the 3M Observatory will be open after the show. (Recommended for ages 8 to adult)
