Nature Days Enrichment Programs
Nature Days Enrichment Programs At Nature Days, we let kids be kids as they explore, create, and discover! Our educators guide children through structured and unstructured learning and play time outdoors, helping children develop the creativity and critical thinking needed to build long-lasting connections with nature. Age appropriate activities let children develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills, encourage cooperative play, practice positive social behavior and communication skills. Our programs are made up of small groups of children with a low student to teacher ratio, allowing each child to get the attention they need. Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve has plenty of space to explore with quiet forests, trickling streams, colorful meadows, big skies, fresh air, and even some magical places where fairies are thought to live! You will create your own lantern and decorate it with a personalized message, attach it to your illuminated float, and release it on Buck Garden’s Lower Pond. Since the planetarium offers a dark and quiet space for relaxation, it is the perfect place for meditation. Enjoy a guided meditation experience in the comfortable, reclined seats in the RVCC Planetarium. Relax under a night sky filled with stars, then travel from Earth to beyond our galaxy. Walk an Alpaca - Saturday Mornings PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! NON REFUNDABLE!!!!! NON CHANGEABLE!!!! Alpaca Halter Training (Walking): Walk one of our beautiful, friendly Alpacas around our property. Enjoy their wonderful personalities and cuteness overload. You will be instructed on how to handle your alpaca and we will give you a little bit of information on our Alpacas. 1 reservation is 1 Alpaca and 1 Person. Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!! Donations to Water Equation advance the water workforce through education, training, and other opportunities. Jersey Tap Wudder is an 7.1% IPA that was crafted in collaboration with the New Jersey Section of the American Water Works Association. Our educators guide children through structured and unstructured learning and play time outdoors, helping children develop the creativity and critical thinking needed to build long-lasting connections with nature. Age appropriate activities let children develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills, encourage cooperative play, practice positive social behavior and communication skills. Our programs are made up of small groups of children with a low student to teacher ratio, allowing each child to get the attention they need. Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve has plenty of space to explore with quiet forests, trickling streams, colorful meadows, big skies, fresh air, and even some magical places where fairies are thought to live! Our educators guide children through structured and unstructured learning and play time outdoors, helping children develop the creativity and critical thinking needed to build long-lasting connections with nature. Age appropriate activities let children develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills, encourage cooperative play, practice positive social behavior and communication skills. Our programs are made up of small groups of children with a low student to teacher ratio, allowing each child to get the attention they need. The instructor will give a comprehensive demonstration. Then each person works at their own wheel to create with lots of help from the instructors. Each potter will choose the glaze color for at least 2 pieces to complete the process of firing and glazing.
