A Man of No Importance TRILOGY REPERTORY THEATER PRESENTS: A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Terrence McNally’s acclaimed musical A Man of No Importance tells the story of an amateur theater group in 1960s Dublin and their leader, bus driver Alfie Byrne. Determined to stage a production of Oscar Wilde’s Salome despite the objections of local church authorities, Alfie confronts the forces of bigotry and shame over a love “that dare not speak its name.” This evocative and award-winning musical illustrates the redemptive power of theater, love, and friendship, all for a man of seemingly no importance.

Be More Chill at The Brook Arts Center The BACCP presents their September production of Be More Chill “More than survive.” That’s all Jeremy Heere wants out of high school. But looking up from the bottom of the social ladder, there’s little hope for the uncool Jeremy. But what if there was an easy way to change all that?

Join us all weekend long as we celebrate 10 years since our first official commercial release! All ages except Saturday after 5 is 21+ It all starts Friday with some awesome beer and we have Walt Syzonenko playing the polka hits on the accordion 6-9. Saturday we'll be outside in the horseshoe so bring the blankets and camp chairs and we've got the Flounder Brass Band playing the traditional Bavarian tunes 1-4. Please note children are welcome but must be with you at all times, for everyone's safety please leave the footballs, soccer balls, etc at home. Outdoors will close at 5. Then Saturday night starting at 5 we are 21+ only inside and we welcome all the way from Pittsburgh the Garrett Tatano Band bringing traditional German mixed with some Rocktoberfest and we will be dancing to close at 10! Then we bring it down a bit on Sunday with a special Brewer's Hour at 11 where we will be featuring a special cask beer. Tickets are required for the Brewer's Hour and can be found at bio.site/flounderbrewing - Delta House members do not need tickets. Special releases all weekend long!!

Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. One person per ticket. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please bring binoculars if you have them.
