Thankful Lights – Floating Luminaries

Thankful Lights - Floating Luminaries Borrowed from a traditional Japanese ceremony, floating a candle on water is thought to awaken the spirit of nature within us all. You will create your own lantern and decorate it with a personalized message, attach it to your illuminated float, and release it on Buck Garden’s Lower Pond. See and experience how magical the floating lights are as they drift on the water into the night. Materials will be supplied. Fee: $20 per person (Pre-registration is required.)

Art After Hours – Pottery Date Night Come on out and get dirty with a date night in the ceramics studio! Couples (and singles) are invited to come out for an intimate experience of throwing on the potters wheel. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the throwing process and give you options for decorating and glazing. We will glaze, fire and package your creation for pickup. Light refreshments will be provided. Please wear or change into clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
